Adoption Success Story

Adoption Success Story:
These little girls are doing so well! They're playful and fun, and when they're tired out they love to cuddle. Pancake loves being social; she'll follow everyone around the house, and Misty loves getting her chin scratched. Our babies have yet to make much noise, but they sure do purr a lot. They love their new home and their new family, and we love them.

Shelter Closing Due to Below Freezing Temperatures

HSNMB will be closed again today, Friday, February 20, 2015, due to below freezing temperatures.

When the temperatures are this low, we cannot pressure hose our dog kennels as we do everyday because we cannot have our dogs walking on ice.

The staff must, instead, clean each kennel without the use of a pressurized hose, which is a very labor intensive and long process.

Thank you for understanding that our animals' care and safety comes first!
